Winter sports in Norefjell begin as early as November and continue until the start of May. While Norefjell is a relatively small ski area, it boasts the longest descent in Northern Europe. From the top of the mountain at 1,188 meters, you can ski all the way down to the frozen lake at the mountain’s base, covering a total vertical drop of over 1,000 meters.
